Mike Howell is a visionary leader, decorated veteran, and a trailblazer in the real estate industry. As CEO of Howell & Johnson Property Group and Day Star Property Management, Mike brings over two decades of real estate experience, a commitment to service, and a passion for mentoring the next generation of professionals.

A Licensed & Certified State Instructor for Real Estate in Tennessee, Mike holds numerous industry designations including GRI, CIPS, e-Pro, ABR, MRP, C2EX, PSA, CRB, SRES, and CREN. He is also a Commercial Agent Broker, recognized for his strategic insight in commercial and investment real estate across East Tennessee and beyond.

In addition to his real estate expertise, Mike is a John Maxwell Certified Coach and Speaker (2021), dedicated to personal development, leadership training, and business growth. His approach combines real-world experience with the timeless principles of integrity, service, and accountability.

Mike proudly served his country for 10 years in the U.S. Army and Tennessee National Guard, earning the distinction of Disabled Veteran. In recognition of his leadership and community service, he was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by the Governor of Kentucky in 1996—one of the Commonwealth’s highest civilian honors.
